Saw this on a London Walks walking tour through the Mayfair area of London near Hyde Park. Hendrix lived in a flat here in 1967-68 during the time he was living and performing in London, before his music took off with the American public. His flat is restored to look the way it did back then and it is part of the Handel Hendrix House museum. Handel being the composer of “Messiah” and other works who lived in the house next to this one in another century. We didn’t have time to visit the museum today but will give that a shot when we return to London later this month.
